Hello, I'm June. I read slowly, reread often and write about it here when I have something to say.

This blog started as a way to keep track of books I'd otherwise forget. It has slowly become a place for longer thoughts on classics, the odd modern novel, and the habits that make reading a bigger part of an ordinary week.

I don't accept review copies and there are no affiliate links. Everything here is a book I chose to read, usually from the library or a secondhand shop.

Posts appear every month or so, more often in winter.
